Welcome to our little Inn located on the edge of Boundary Waters Canoe Area and Superior National Forest. We are near Birch Lake, one of the top fishing lakes in the state. The public beach and boat access is a short drive from the Inn. There is a paved bike and walking trail through a beautiful pine forest from the edge of town to the beach. In the winter, you can ride your snowmobile from our front door to the Stoney Spur Snowmobile trail. There are two cross country ski trails nearby, and many more in the area. We are located about 15 miles from Ely, home of the International Wolf Center, and many regional festivals. Regardless of the season ... there is always much to do... and this is a great place to rest at the end of the day!
